"Workshops were solid, but the course dragged a bit"
My first reaction was that the workshop was super helpful — like, I actually felt glad I joined it. The online course was okay too, but it felt kind of slow at times and I caught myself wanting it to move along faster.

"Some good tips, but a bit of a brain maze"
There are definitely a few helpful articles in here, I’ll give it that. But when I’m actually stressed, the advice feels kind of all over the place, like some “calm-down champion” guide that forgot real people don’t think in neat little steps during a meltdown. Good ideas, just not always practical when you actually need them...

I feel better reading Gottman than a lot of other relationship advice sites because it doesn’t just sound like someone throwing out random opinions. Knowing there’s real research behind the advice makes me trust it more. The articles are easy to follow, and a lot of the tips feel practical instead of overly vague. A few sections do feel a little like they’re trying to sell you something, which made me pause a bit, but overall it gave me a solid, reassuring feeling.

"I took one of the Gottman therapist..."
I took one of the Gottman therapist trainings it was solid overall. The videos and real examples made it much easier to picture how I’d actually use the tools with couples, instead of just learning the theory and hoping it clicks later.
I’m giving it 4 stars because some sections were dense, and I had to pause or rewatch a few parts to really get it. Part of me felt like they packed in so much because they wanted to show how comprehensive the method is, maybe a little to prove its value, but it was still worthwhile and useful for my practice.

"Pretty good deal for what you pay"
I only paid for one course, but i got more out of it than I thought I would. The price felt fair, and there was actually a lot of useful info in there. I’m guessing they probably put extra effort into making the course feel worth it so people come back for more, but either way, I’m happy with it.

"Helpful relationship advice without the unnecessary fluff"
I’ve been browsing Gottman and I really like how the relationship advice doesn’t feel aimed at just one type of couple. It comes across as open, respectful, and actually connected to real-life stuff people deal with, instead of being overly polished or trying too hard.

The articles are easy to read and not preachy, which I appreciated. My partner and I used a few of them to talk through things we already kind of felt but didn’t have the right words for. It feels inclusive in a natural way, without making an unnecessary big performance out of it

"Directory didn’t really work out for me"
I tried using the therapist directory, and maybe I just had bad luck, but it wasn’t super helpful in my case. A lot of the profiles seemed like they might be outdated, and I didn’t hear back from several people I reached out to. It’s fine for browsing and getting a general idea of who’s out there, but based on my experience, it wasn’t very useful.

I noticed I’d been charged twice and assumed it was going to turn into one of those annoying back-and-forth support things. But I reached out, they fixed it quickly, and the refund showed up a few days later. Smooth overall.

"I had a small issue with my..."
I had a small issue with my account and fully expected to be waiting around forever, because that’s usually how these things go, right? But support actually got back to me quickly. They understood what I was asking without making me explain it five different ways, which was a nice change. They fixed it without a bunch of unnecessary back-and-forth, so i appreciated the rare moment of things just working the way they should.
